此片由真实故事改编。讲诉一个毒贩被警察抓获，帮警察做任务来减少刑期。因为他的地域优势和才能，反犯罪集团决定任命他为卧底潜入一个威名远扬的摩托帮派——瓦格斯帮（Vagos）。在他潜入的过程中，必须经过一次又一次的伪装和打交道，才能在帮里调查出他们的底细。但在做任务的过程中，同时也在面临着危险....。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game.
