这部动画片根据卡里·纪伯伦的同名作品改编，每一部分由不同导演执导，其中包括《狮子王》导演罗杰·阿勒斯和《海洋之歌》导演汤姆·摩尔，声优云集连姆·尼森、塞尔玛·海耶克、奎文赞妮·瓦利斯等。。红头、黑头、绿头三只小鸭一会逗逗蚯蚓，一会扑扑蝴蝶，玩得不亦乐乎。一个不小心，它们弄醒了正在做美梦的小黑猫，对方大怒，把它们追得无处可逃。看到一个废弃的烟囱时，机智的三只小鸭钻了进去，小黑猫也想效仿，无奈身形太过肥胖，于是它便在原地候着。三只小鸭从烟囱出来时，全变成了小黑鸭，这可把小黑猫吓坏了。。A rookie flyer, Ens.
