鸿钧道祖的小徒弟叶凡因神性难移，被玉帝设计贬下凡间红尘炼心，顺便调查三界通道破裂的真相。叶凡被贬下凡间之后，鸿钧老祖为其安排一段姻缘命数，姻缘对象叶灵儿因被鸿钧选中，导致自身福缘暴涨，从而引得多方势力的窥视。。家住上海的小青年杜小西（严顺开 饰）是饲料厂厂长的公子，可是他却有一个不太好听的外号“阿混”。原来他仗着自己的老子是厂长，所以在厂里游手好闲，无所事事，整日里玩耍闲逛，小日子过得无比惬意。为了适应时代的要求，饲料厂准备进行一次青年职工文化考试。厂长顶不住厂里的压力，承诺要让阿混第一批参加考试。可是吃惯了大锅饭的阿混热衷于打扑克，找各种借口躲避复习，还跑到杭州玩耍，期间还伪装成技术员邂逅了美丽的养鸡姑娘肖梅英。回来的考试中阿混作弊，遭到众人讨伐，再也混不下去的他跑到梅英的家继续混吃等死。 然而没有真本事的人，到哪里都找不到发展的道路……。This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。
