In his book titled History of Is...。本作は昼は俳優業をこなし、夜は酒場へと繰り出す主人公・北見優作が、訪れる店で魅力的なマドンナたちと酒を酌み交わす物語。うまい酒と気ままな肴を愛し食べて飲み、マドンナに心惑わされながらたそがれる52歳のバツイチ俳優の姿を描く。。
