A sniper returns home from Afghanistan to his small Northern town. Confronted with the mundane reality of everyday life he longs for the release provided by shooting. Slowly his need for regimented military discipline takes over leading to violent confrontation.。形形色色的人们——一名高中生、一位中年商人、黑帮头目等——都收到了三个月前在海难中逝去的亲人发来的神秘讯息。他们被指示当晚前往濑户内海的一座小岛。午夜钟声敲响时，那艘失踪的船只从海中浮现，逝者与生者得以短暂重逢，互诉最后的话语。而后亡者必须再度登船，随沉船永葬海底。。
