达伦·山是一个普通的少年，他和朋友史蒂夫一起去看镇上的马戏团表演。在那里他们大开眼界，看见了狼人、吸血鬼以及其拥有的奇异的蜘蛛。表演过后，出于好奇，达伦偷了吸血鬼的蜘蛛，并带回家里把玩。在他拿给史蒂夫炫耀的时候，蜘蛛意外咬伤了史蒂夫，使其昏迷不醒。因为医生对此无能为力，达伦只好去找吸血鬼求助。吸血鬼提出要达伦也成为吸血鬼并充当自己的助手，才会去救史蒂夫。无奈之下，达伦勉强同意，从此开始了他的吸血鬼之旅……。Sarah returns to school for the new school year only this time as a vampire.
