This popular animated television cartoon featured two Stone Age families, the Flintstones and their neighbors, the Rubbles. Much of the humor was based on its comic portrayals of modern conveniences, reinterpreted using Stone Age 'technology.' Most notably were their cars, complete with absence of floorboards to allow them to be 'foot-powered.'。拉里·大卫试图先发制人地与生病的洛蕾塔分手，并尝试与谢丽儿破镜重圆，但布莱克一家也在步步紧逼。而与此同时，拉里也成功召集了原班人马，打算去拍一部《宋飞正传》的重聚剧集。。退休在家的地质学家管治国（张国立 饰）非常爱自己的四个孩子，但却总是拙于表达，多年来一直通过妻子跟孩子们沟通。妻子去世之后，他才恍然发现跟孩子有了距离。一次家庭聚会，天南海北的孩子们却不能回家。于是他只身辗转全国各地，去探望他的那些“自以为是”的“大孩子”们，期间发生了很多令人笑中带泪的故事。。
