在不远的未来，人类大量排放废气制造垃圾，远远超出地球的承载能力，地球迎来无法逆转的沙化期。动植物变异产生地球新主人“沙虫”，它们屠城略地将人类逼到灭绝边缘，幸存者只能孤注一掷，寻找大漠深处仅存的避难所“绿洲”。一支由富商、科学家、保安队长、机械师一家以及混混组成的流亡小队乘着特制装甲车踏上寻找“绿洲”的冒险旅程，但嗜血虫族却尾随在后紧追不舍。为了生存，众人不仅要躲避暴走沙虫的追击，还要应对同伴间的背叛和选择，死伤惨烈，希望渺茫。等待人类的将会是怎样的命运？。The "Sixth Bus" is a film about a young woman trying to find out how her father disappeared never to be found, during a war in Croatia that stunned Europe and the world.
