著名小提琴演奏家陈枫为了完成父亲陈士晔的梦想，毅然辞去乐团的工作，来到乐器厂学习制作小提琴，并数度进入林区寻找“虎皮枫木”，直至在东北林区发现。“虎皮枫木”并非来自中国，而一直由欧洲进口，被称为“欧料”，是制作优质小提琴的木料材质。几个世纪以来，高档小提琴一直由西方制作生产。因此，在中国寻找“虎皮枫木”，就成为一些想制作中国高级乐器的琴师的梦想。。小学生辰辰不满家庭现状和妈妈的唠叨，他在生日的那一天许愿换妈妈。岂料梦想成真后，辰辰却后悔了。。In the summer of 1859, a widowed physician reluctantly agrees to take a recently freed slave and her mysterious Caucasian daughter on a 5-day journey through the bloody West to find a distant town's Faith Healer.
