本作は泥棒という裏の顔を持つカフェ店員・木梨栄木が、警官の眉村ゆずきの部屋で一仕事をするところから展開するサスペンスコメディ。木梨は彼女の部屋で「ずっとお前を見ているからな」という手紙を見つけ驚くも、難なく盗みを終える。そしてある日バイトを終えて家に帰ると、愛犬・天然くんがいなくなっていることに気付くのだった。。幼年丧父离母的少女西纳离家出走，到小镇的理发店做小工，由于本身患有睡眠障碍导致失眠，又意外得知了，相依为命的奶奶去世的噩耗，从此产生了臆想，面对无法回避对奶奶愧疚的心魔，西纳选择了自杀。此时，儿时纯真善良的内心引导她重温了之前的记忆，西纳懂得了爱与生活的真谛，最终救赎了自己。They are home to wolves, elks and tigers: the boreal forests of the north.
