夏然为继承父亲遗志，经营夏家并做慈善，资助贫困生杨婷婷上学。杨婷婷成绩优异，夏然为其办庆功宴，但她却挺着孕肚砸场，声称怀夏然父亲孩子，夏然不信，真相逐渐揭开。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
