以三藩市为背景的《迷魂记》（1958）被誉为希治阁巅峰作。佳麦甸（《非请勿进》，39届）应邀为三藩市国际电影节创作电影，自然想起《迷魂记》。念念不忘金露华身上那团绿雾，他甚至认为《迷魂记》就是电影和三藩市的同义词，于是以别开生面方式来个致敬，从《上海小姐》（1947）到《加州大地震》（2015）等超过二百部有关三藩市，或于三藩市取景的影视作品里摘取片段，以《迷魂记》 为参照，再行拼贴，重新想像，构成一封献给三藩市的情书。。Somewhere on the internet is a land where communities pretend to live out a survivalist fiction.
