The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。许氏总裁许自均和妻子上山求子救下贪吃小白蛇，小白蛇为报恩投胎做女儿。妻子在即将分娩时遭遇车祸，诞下一女许兜兜后离世，不久许兜兜也在医院中丢失，许自均苦苦寻找无果。。以曾侯乙编钟为故事来源，以战国时代列国争霸为背景，讲述了曾国国君曾侯乙目睹天下混乱、礼乐崩坏而重铸64件编钟，再现“凤舞”之曲的理想主义奋斗过程。全片通过曾侯乙及楚王、楚国公主云珠、曾国女乐官棠玉对编钟和“凤舞”之曲不同的追求与寄托，以及由此而引发的礼乐与霸道的冲突、权谋和爱情的矛盾，架构出一曲合理合史的古代音乐与政治、生活的凄美传奇。。
