The one who can bring the demons back will surviv...。本片乃是编导对一起发生在70年代早期乌拉圭的真实事件的个人诠释。一个美国AID官员（他们通常的任务是作为先遣部队前往目标国家训练当地警察人员如何镇压暴乱）遭当地游击队绑架并谋杀。经过调查发现，他原来是美国政府干涉当地内政的特派人员，经游击队严刑逼供仍不吐实，于是加以杀害，在这条主线之外，影片也描写了左翼游击队和乌拉圭政府的对抗。。
