《我的母亲》是南尼•莫莱蒂的自传体作品，讲述的是一个女导演在新片杀青及母亲离世前的心理变化。女主角玛格丽塔人至中年，各种危机接踵而至，感情破裂，女儿不省心，事业陷入僵局，母亲将逝，这一切都让她的内心受到折磨。玛格丽塔在丧母之痛的焦虑与新片拍摄的野心之间不断来回转变，而现实与梦想的差距又让她倍感失落。影片也在混乱的片场与医院之间摆荡，时而插入一些幻想式的场景。当玛格丽塔的电影终于杀青，她的母亲也不幸离世，导演和女儿的双重身份另她陷入了深深的迷惘。。影片讲述了主人公狐狸姐与澳门赌场老板九爷赌局约战的故事。狐狸姐小时候原本拥有一个幸福美满的家庭，但自从父亲沾染上了赌博之后，很快便挥霍掉了家中所有的财产，最终负债累累无法偿还，父亲选择了离家出走从此查无音讯。所以狐狸姐从小便对赌博深恶痛绝，她深知所有的赌博其实都是骗局，所以她一定要找到自己的恋人宋远规劝他不要再沉溺赌博了。。Misrepresented, maligned and on the verge of extinction, the great white shark is an iconic predator: the creature we love to fear.
