But he does not want to hear about his childhood friend, as he tries to integrate with the "Chivers" a ...。这部动画片讲述了一个发生在草原的故事。草精灵是一群被大自然幻化出来的草籽儿守护者，它们保护草籽和草原，维系着生态平衡；田鼠们则喜欢盗食和囤积草籽。田鼠是草精灵最大的天敌。草精灵爷爷萨胡斯是一个精灵长老，他熟知草原的秘密；草精灵多丽雅聪明可爱，她看不惯田鼠们的偷食行为，因此处处提防田鼠们到草精灵的草场上抢夺草籽；草精灵辛吉乐是多丽雅的弟弟，他在不断地研发优良草种。狡猾的田鼠们为了偷抢草籽想尽了各种伎俩。而草精灵们为了保护草籽，不断地和田鼠作斗争，它们之间的斗争从未停止过。在鼠族中，有一只名叫毛日的小田鼠，它在草精灵家族的影响下，也希望自己能象草精灵一样去种植和收获草籽，并和草精灵们建立了友谊。然而，一场空前的干旱，却让草原陷入了巨大的危机之中，威胁着草原上所有生物的生存。。
