1939年6月25日，香港大地影业公司完成了第一部故事片《孤岛天堂》，这是蔡楚生根据赵英才的原著故事改编导演的。 影片描写上海沦为“孤岛”后，一群爱国青年的首领是一个“神秘青年”。他们的活动被同住一楼的东北流亡舞女知道后，得到舞女的帮助。这个爱国组织曾先后暗杀了好几个为虎作伥的汉奸特务。后来他们又进一步得到了许多贫苦市民如哑吧小贩、傻子、卖报小孩等的支持。最后，在一次盛大的舞宴上，他们巧妙地把汉奸特务一网打尽，顺利地按照原定计划，越墙转移，参加了游击队。。When Dongjun first met Hyeji on a spring day, he just knew she was the girl of his dreams. So he works up the courage to talk to her, and ask for her number-but Hyeji declines, saying if they ever meet again, she will then give him her number. That evening, Dongjun gets a call from his best friend and finds out there was a surprise waiting for him.。
