Fårö Document 1979 is the ten-year followup to the first documentary Bergman made about his adopted home, Fårö, where he filmed many of his best works and lived until the end of his life。陰鬱炙熱的夏天裡，泳隊的兩個少女文綺和曉安總是形影不離。比賽在即，文綺所面臨的壓力，讓彼此的關係產生了細微的變化。面對文綺的封閉與創傷，曉安選擇一再靠近，然而每一次的靠近，卻將她們彼此越推越遠......。
